Truro is home to the No. 1 escape room in the UK! 🏆Huge congratulations to Oli and Megan at Enigma Escape Cornwall whose Fear of the Unknown has taken the No. 1 spot in the UK Escape Room Awards 2026.And we decided we couldn’t just write about it…Four of us from Community Together went beneath Lemon Street to experience Fear of the Unknown for ourselves. Two of our group had never done an escape room before - so naturally we put one of them in front of the camera afterwards and asked for his verdict! No spoilers from us, but this isn’t simply a room full of clues. Here you go - yesterday’s highlights from a fabulous Truro Half Marathon! 🏃♀️🏃♂️A huge thank you to the main sponsor, Skinner’s Brewery, Truro, and congratulations to the organisers and volunteers who did a superb job putting on such a major event. An amazing effort from everyone who took part and tackled what is certainly not an easy course! One runner who deserves a special mention is Ben Sewell from North Herts Road Runners, who was on holiday in Cornwall, saw there were spaces available and simply decided to enter! He described the course as “brutal” - and then went on to finish an impressive 4th place. Not bad for a spontaneous holiday activity! If you know someone who ran yesterday, please share this post with them so they can enjoy the highlights.Congratulations to every runner, volunteer and organiser who made the day such a success.#TruroHalfMarathon #Truro #Cornwall #Running #CommunityTogether
