Father Christmas Parade – key information for tomorrow

Truro BID is delighted to be organising tomorrow’s Father Christmas Parade, proudly sponsored by Coodes Solicitors. Below is essential information for anyone planning to attend. Please feel free to share this with customers and the wider community.

Arrive Early
The Father Christmas Parade will begin at 6.30pm from Boscawen Street, with festive entertainment from Rock Choir Cornwall starting at 6pm.

Park and Ride
A later Park and Ride service will be in operation. The final service leaves the city centre at 9.30pm.
• Services towards Tregurra Park will depart from the River Street stop.
• Services towards Langarth Park will depart from Victoria Square.

First Aid & Lost Children
Two first aid points will be available throughout the evening:
• King Street
• Boscawen Street (near Visit Truro)
Any lost children will be taken to one of these designated points.

Public Safety
There will be ample security staff on hand, and local police officers will be present to ensure everyone enjoys the event safely.

Parade Route
Visitors are encouraged to spread out along the route to enjoy the best view of Father Christmas and the festivities.
